Thank You Saxby Chambliss for the Auto-Reply

I received a nicely formatted auto-reply to my letter to Saxby Chambliss regarding the Telecomm Sellout Act of 2008 (aka S. 2248, the “Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) Amendments Act.”). I decided it was only appropriate to send my thanks and regard for his time and efforts in protecting us from the Terrorists…

“Thank you so much for the automatically generated form letter defending your position Telecomm Immunity. Its always nice to see our elected officials paying attention to the privacy rights of their constituents. I find the oversight of our Congress in stopping this travesty reprehensible. I sincerely look forward to receiving more form letters from your and your staff, particularly a future concession of your tenure as a member of Congress when we vote you and your ilk from office.”

Sigh, welcome to another government watch list. Collect Them All!

What can I say, its part and parcel with being raised in a dangerous country founded by revolutionary extremists with radical beliefs about freedom.
