Travel: Gillette, WY to Superior, MT

Hit the road from Gillette with the intention of grabbing breakfast somewhere along the way, but things were pretty desolate and we ended up just snacking on the road and at gas breaks.  The country grows progressively more mountainous from Wyoming to Montana.

Once well into Montana its easy to see why people fall in love with the “Big Sky Country”. The cities of Montana, however, are less scenic.

Stopped for the finest Turkey Club I’ve had in a while in a little town called Deer Park.   Finally stopped for the night in a place called Superior at their only hotel.  Its a bit “werewolfy” from the outside, but inside they are cozy enough.  Pip’s mullet count went off the chart at the local grocery store, but I secretly know the resemblance to the Piggly Wiggly’s of her homeland charmed her. 🙂
