Finished Brian Wood’s graphic novel Local this morning and really enjoyed it. There aren’t any super powers and the few fight scenes are painful for all parties involved. Local explores the wanderlust of Megan in a stutter-step across various points in her life and places around the United States. Sort of an emotional as well as physical travelogue. If you enjoyed books like DMZ, Love and Rockets and Stray Bullets, you might want to take a look.
