I know that Hemingway doesn’t resonate for everyone, heck, sometimes he’s downright annoying, but The Sun Also Rises really struck a sympathetic nerve with me. Between the the pangs of dreams/optimism lost in the wake of WWI, the eternal outside theme of the ex-patriots and the drama of Brett, I really enjoyed this book.
