Though the occasional excursions into dubious spirituality and metaphysics are overly romantic, I really did enjoy some of the examination of symbolism and story-telling in the comic genres. As promised, here is a list of recommended reading (or re-reading in many cases) from the book as well as some extras that came to my attention during the course of reading.
