You wouldn’t think I’d have enjoyed a book in this topic/arena after my infamously notorious comments about the likes of Austin and Woolf, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the life of Beatrix Potter. Constructed from letters, notes, records and other accounts, its a fascinating window into not only the person but the period.
