In keeping with the Teaching Company tradition, this course was superb. Even though the topic is extremely technical, the lecturer made incredible efforts to make it accessible. Unless you are a mathematician or theoretical physicist, you will probably be out of your depth in several places, but there is only so much simplification you can do with a topic like this one. The course is a couple years old, so there are some fine points you may want to follow up on, but references and recommended reading are included in the course guide.
