Absence and Activities
Sorry for the disappearing act from Livejournal and the Cafe Arcane blog, but the last week or so has been a bit hectic. I’m still adjusting to recent shakeups at work and business matters outside the workplace have kept me off balance. On the plus side, WordPress 2.1 has been released and I’ll be preparing to upgrade my installation at www.arcane.org. This may be delayed because I’d like to take the opportunity to also build a new theme/appearance for my site. Also, I think it’s high time I build a new web design portfolio and give it a proper home. Finally, a conspiratorial nod to the folks in the BEF project; looking forward to the collective creativity and fun (unless life should eat my brain in its typically merciless manner).
Someone I knew from college would routinely refer to some of the meat at the dorm cafeteria as “bef” (with a bar over the e)… sort of the Grade D-Z versions of beef which was low enough content of real meat to not be allowed to use the proper spelling. Food for thought. š
Might be more appropriate in this case as well, depending on how things go. š
