Decatur Sky Timelapse

Just a test of timelapse on Saturday, March 17 2012. Brightness and contrast overwhelmed the camera sensor at a few points. In the future, I may use a physical filter, adjust camera settings or correct in post-processing.

Typically I would put these all together with Quicktime Pro, but surprise, surprise, it is acting up again.

Instead I stumbled upon a piece of Windows freeware called PhotoLapse 3.  Its pretty sparse on the options and only appears to output in AVI (but with a couple options for codec), but hey… free.

I’d like to do this in a more interesting area and add some tilt shift effects into the mix.
