Patron #1: So, you hear that Wikipedia is considering making all edits require approval from their staff.

Me: *begins rudely eavesdropping*

Patron #2: That’s just stupid. The system is self-correcting.

Patron #1:  Well, occasional flame wars aside. *laugh*

Patron #2: You know what I wish?  I wish there was a Wikipedia where ANYONE could post about themselves.  Forget this “figure of note” crap.  Just make whatever crazy ass claims you want and not have to be a celebrity.

Me (not minding my own business): That already exists.  It’s called MySpace.
